In general you DO NOT. All Vespa rentals included in the basic package are 125cc which in Italy all they require is a valid car driver license.
However, drivers must convert their license into a International Driver Permit (IDP) - which you can easily do over the internet in matter of minutes or a few days. IDP is included in most packages.
IF you decided to upgrade your vehicle to a 300cc (select itineraries), then you you will be required to have a motorcycle license.
In most cases, we will design the trip to establish a 4-star Hotel as our camp base, one that we go back to after every ride. We design them this way so that travelers get comfortable and settled in their rooms, get to know their surroundings, and the lovely hotel staff who love vespa and riding as much as we do.
Please check each trip information as details might change depending on region and trip.
We love to host families! However, due to the nature of the trip, we require a minimum of 18 years of age - and a valid car driver license in case of drivers. Other than that we would LOVE to organize a family trip for y'all, send us a message!
YES. We have a single occupancy option for you! Although many come as couple, friends can also team up, purchase a double occupancy option, share a room with separated beds, and even rent an additional ride so each can ride their own.
