Last updated: March 29, 2026

Welcome to Vesping Around! We’re excited to have you join our exclusive trips and are committed to providing you with a memorable experience.

Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully, as they outline your responsibilities and our commitments. They provide essential guidelines for booking, canceling, and participating in our trips. For any questions, contact us at info@vespingaround.com.

By booking a trip with us, you accept and agree to these terms.

Additionally, we do not accept responsibility for any losses or expenses arising from illness, lack of appropriate medical facilities or practitioners, weather conditions, strikes, theft or other criminal acts, war, terrorism, computer problems, or similar causes.

Other risks may arise, including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in foreign countries, particularly undeveloped areas; the risks associated with travel by aircraft, bus, van, train, automobile, or other motorized vehicles; differing safety standards; sickness; criminal acts committed by others; allergic reactions; and/or encounters with animals.

By voluntarily participating in the trip with Vesping Around, and in consideration for the agreement to travel with us, you agree not to file any claims against Vesping Around, its affiliated companies, officers, or employees for injuries, death, or any other claims. You also agree to release Vesping Around, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any such claims. This release is binding on all members of your traveling party, as well as your estate and heirs, and remains enforceable even after the trip has ended. If you are traveling with children, you are solely responsible for their behavior and monitoring them throughout the tour.

Vesping Around is not responsible and will provide no refund if your flight schedule changes, if you are unable to fully enjoy your tour, or if a carrier cancels your flight, resulting in a cancellation penalty due to the purchase of a nonrefundable airline or other ticket to the tour departure city and return. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the owner at all times.

All services and accommodations are subject to the laws of the country in which they are provided.

Third-Party Representations

Vesping Around is not bound by representations made by third parties, including travel agents or unaffiliated websites. Payment of the deposit to Vesping Around constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Vesping Around reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

2. Age Requirements

All participants must meet the following minimum age requirements to join a Vesping Around trip:

  • Minimum Age — Riders: Participants must be at least 18 years of age to operate any Vesping Around rental vehicle.

  • Passengers — Passengers: Participants aged 16 or 17 may join as passengers only, provided that a signed parental or legal guardian consent form is submitted to Vesping Around prior to departure. Participants under the age of 16 are not permitted on any Vesping Around trip.

Vesping Around reserves the right to request proof of age at any time. Failure to meet age requirements will result in exclusion from the trip, with no refund issued.

3. Photography and Media

We strive to make our trips as memorable as possible, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the moment—enjoying the destination, the experiences, and your surroundings, free from distractions like phones or screens.

By joining a trip, you consent to Vesping Around taking and using photos or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes. A selection of these images will be shared with the group after the trip for use on social media. You may not sell or otherwise use any of the images taken by Vesping Around for commercial purposes.

In attending a trip with Vesping Around, you also agree to grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, re-use, distribute, display, create derivative works of, and reproduce any images, photos, or videos (whether directly or through a photo sharing service) in any medium, including but not limited to print, electronic media, or Internet, free of charge and without right to inspection, for any purpose, including to promote and publicize our products and services worldwide. If you do not wish for your photos or video to be taken, please let us know via email before your trip at info@vespingaround.com.

Guest Photography

Participants may photograph and record fellow travelers during the trip. Vesping Around does not regulate the personal use or social media sharing of such images by participants. Each participant is solely responsible for ensuring their own photography and posting practices respect the privacy and wishes of other group members. Vesping Around assumes no liability for images taken or shared by participants.

Presence and Screen Policy

Vesping Around trips are curated, immersive experiences. Our lead guides may establish guidelines around phone and screen use during specific activities to preserve the quality of the experience for all participants. Participants are encouraged to embrace a present-minded approach throughout the journey. The lead guide exercises full discretion in setting and communicating these expectations on a per-activity basis.

4. Trip Confirmation and Payment

Minimum Requirements and Confirmation

To allow for a more personable, intimate experience, each trip requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. Once the minimum is met, your trip will be confirmed, no later than 60 days before departure.

  • If we cancel a trip before this date, a full refund will be issued, minus an administrative fee of 2% of the total amount paid to date. This fee covers all processing and bank charges; no additional fees will be deducted.

  • If the trip is rescheduled, you may choose to apply any payments you’ve made toward securing a spot on the new trip dates.

  • You can also apply the balance toward any other scheduled or future trips on the Vesping Around calendar, subject to the Transfer of Trip policy below.

Payment Schedule

Our payment structure includes an initial deposit to reserve your spot, followed by installments that cover the final balance due at least 30 days before departure.

  • Prices cover specified services outlined in the package itinerary. This does not include airfare, airline fees, airport or departure taxes, transfers, visas, international license permit, gratuities for service providers, or incidental charges.

  • Timely payment is crucial for the smooth execution of trips and for our local partners to be able to guarantee accommodation and activities. If payment deadlines are not met, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund, no exceptions.

Flight Arrangements

We advise you to avoid booking flights until your trip is confirmed. Vesping Around is not liable for any non-refundable travel expenses incurred if a trip is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

No one books a trip with the intention of canceling it, but unexpected events do occur. Our cancellation policy seeks to balance our commitment to local partners and the needs of our guests. Please review it carefully.

  • Cancellation Period: Cancellation Period: The cancellation period closes 30 days before the scheduled departure date. Once this window closes, no refunds are available under any circumstances.

  • Deposit: Deposit: Your deposit is refundable within 14 days from booking. After that, the deposit is non-refundable unless the trip is canceled by Vesping Around, in which case a refund will be issued minus the 2% administrative fee described above.

  • Cancellations After the 14-Day Window: Cancellations After the 14-Day Window: If you cancel after the initial 14-day refund window and before the 30-day departure cutoff, you forfeit all payments made to date. Any outstanding installments remain due and payable according to the original payment schedule, regardless of cancellation. No exceptions will be made.

  • Refund Eligibility: Refund Eligibility: Once the 30-day cancellation period closes, refunds are not available. We cannot make exceptions for weather, illness, personal emergencies, or any other reason. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory to cover personal cancellations or emergencies. See the Travel Insurance section for details.

  • No Credits or Credit Transfers: No Credits or Credit Transfers: Vesping Around does not issue travel credits. Unused payments cannot be held as credit or applied to future trips, except through the formal Trip Transfer process described below.

  • No-Shows and Early Departures: No-Shows and Early Departures: Refunds or credits are not available for missed portions of the trip due to late arrivals, early departures, or other circumstances.

Transfer of Reservation (Person to Person)

Should you be unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another person provided the following conditions are met:

  • Written notice must be received by Vesping Around at least 30 days prior to departure.

  • Payments made will transfer to the new participant, who assumes responsibility for all pending balances.

  • You are responsible for recovering any payments already made directly from the new participant.

  • An Administrative Fee of $500.00 per booking applies to all person-to-person reservation transfers.

Transfer of Trip (Trip to Trip)

If you are unable to attend your booked trip, you may request to transfer your payments to a different Vesping Around trip, subject to the following conditions:

  • Requests must be submitted in writing and received by Vesping Around no later than 90 days before the original trip’s departure date.

  • All transfers are subject to Vesping Around’s written approval via email. No transfer is confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Vesping Around.

  • Transferred payments must be applied to a new trip within 12 months of the original booking date. After this period, any unused payments are forfeited.

  • There is no limit on the number of trip transfers, provided each request meets the above conditions and receives written approval.

  • An Administrative Fee of $500.00 per booking applies to each trip transfer.

  • Credits and balances are non-transferable to third parties through the trip transfer process. Only the original booking participant may initiate a trip transfer.

Administrative Fee Summary

The following administrative fees apply:

  • $500.00 per booking: Person-to-person reservation transfers and trip-to-trip transfers.

  • $150.00 per person: All other administrative changes, including but not limited to date changes and other modifications.

  • 2% of total amount paid: Administrative fee retained on Vesping Around-initiated refunds (e.g., trip canceled due to low enrollment). This fee is all-inclusive and covers all processing and bank charges.

6. Travel Insurance Requirements

The unexpected can occur, and getting sick or experiencing an emergency in a foreign country can be a daunting experience. To protect yourself and ensure a safe experience, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Vesping Around participants.

Coverage Requirements

At a minimum, your travel insurance policy must cover the full cost of your Vesping Around booking. We strongly advise that you purchase coverage for the entirety of your trip expenses, including but not limited to international airfare, additional accommodations, and other travel costs. While we do not mandate a specific coverage amount beyond your Vesping Around balance, comprehensive protection is in your best interest.

Your policy must cover, at minimum:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption

  • Medical emergencies

  • International emergency evacuation

Purchasing Insurance

Although you are not obligated to purchase insurance through us, Vesping Around offers top-of-the-industry travel insurance and you will be offered the opportunity to run a quote on our partner’s platform. The advantages and risks of declining coverage will be explained by your Travel Advisor. Please reach out for a comprehensive summary of policy benefits.

Proof of Insurance

Proof of valid travel insurance must be submitted to Vesping Around within the 14 days after booking. Failure to provide this documentation could result in cancellation of your booking without refund. Insurance must remain valid and active for the full duration of the trip.

7. Vehicle Damage Liability

Vesping Around tours include the rental of scooters or Vespas through authorized third-party rental providers. These rental agreements typically include basic liability coverage (RCA) as required by Italian law, which covers damages caused to third parties only.

They do not include any insurance for damage to the vehicle itself caused by the rider, including but not limited to scratches, dents, accidents, loss, vandalism, or mechanical damage due to misuse.

Rider Responsibility

By joining the trip, the participant agrees to take full financial responsibility for any damage caused to the rented scooter/Vespa during the rental period, regardless of fault. Any repair costs, deductibles, or charges imposed by the rental agency will be at the rider’s own expense. A valid credit card will be required at vehicle pickup to serve as a security deposit.

Optional Private Insurance

Participants may choose to purchase an optional third-party insurance policy (such as a Collision Damage Waiver) that covers scooter/motorbike rentals. If you choose to do so, coverage must be active before the start of the trip, and it is your responsibility to verify the policy terms and file any claims directly with the provider. Please notify Vesping Around if you purchase such coverage.

8. Travel Documents & Visa Requirements

  • A valid, non-expired International Driver Permit (IDP) is required and mandatory in order to ride Vespa vehicles in compliance with Italian law. The only authorized and accepted IDP is one issued by the American Automobile Association (AAA). IDPs issued by any other organization will not be accepted. Participants must carry their physical IDP with them at all times during the trip. Digital copies or photocopies are not accepted.

  • A valid, non-expired car or driver’s license from your home country is required to operate a standard 125cc Vespa rental. Participants must carry their original physical license with them at all times during the trip.

  • If you request an upgrade to a 200cc scooter or above, either during or after booking, a valid motorcycle license from your home country is also required in addition to the IDP. Failure to provide this documentation may result in being downgraded to a standard 125cc vehicle, with no refund issued for the price difference.

  • You are responsible for securing all required travel documents, including visas. No refunds will be issued if you are unable to obtain necessary travel documents.

9. Riding Requirements and Skill Assessment

License and Experience Requirements

By booking a Vesping Around trip, you confirm that you meet the following riding requirements:

  • Standard 125cc Vespa: A valid, non-expired car or driver’s license from your home country is required, along with a valid, non-expired International Driver Permit (IDP) issued exclusively by the American Automobile Association (AAA). IDPs from any other issuing organization will not be accepted. Both original physical documents must be in your possession at the time of the trip. You must also be comfortable operating a manual scooter or moped prior to departure.

  • Upgraded engines (200cc and above): A valid, non-expired motorcycle license from your home country is required, in addition to a valid, non-expired International Driver Permit issued exclusively by the American Automobile Association (AAA). All original physical documents must be in your possession at the time of the trip.

By completing your booking, you self-certify that you meet the applicable license requirements for the vehicle type selected. Misrepresentation of riding experience or license status at the time of booking may result in removal from the scooter portion of the experience without refund.

In-Person Skill Assessment

For safety reasons, Vesping Around reserves the right to assess your riding ability in person at the start of the trip. If the lead guide determines that your skill level, balance, or observed riding ability does not meet the requirements of the specific itinerary, you may be downgraded to ride as a passenger—where available—or have your participation in the scooter portion of the experience canceled.

In such cases, you may be offered the option to follow the group by rental car or Vesping Around support vehicle, subject to availability. All related costs, including vehicle rental and fuel, will be your responsibility, and no refunds will be issued for the scooter portion of the experience.

10. Safety Gear and Equipment

Helmets

Helmets are provided and included in the trip price for all riders and passengers. Wearing a helmet is mandatory at all times while operating or riding as a passenger on any Vesping Around rental vehicle. Refusal to wear a helmet will result in exclusion from riding activities, with no refund issued.

Additional Required Gear

The following safety gear is mandatory for all riders:

  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times while riding. Sandals, flip-flops, or open-toe footwear are not permitted.

  • Protective eyewear (goggles or UV-protective sunglasses) is mandatory while riding to guard against wind, debris, and sun exposure.

The following gear is strongly recommended but not mandatory:

  • Long pants or riding trousers to protect against abrasion in the event of a fall.

Failure to comply with mandatory gear requirements may result in exclusion from riding activities at the discretion of the lead guide. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

11. Alcohol and Intoxication Policy

Vesping Around trips often include cultural dining experiences, wine tastings, and other activities where alcohol may be served. Participants are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and in accordance with applicable local laws and legal limits for operating a motor vehicle.

Zero tolerance applies to riding under the influence. Any participant determined by the lead guide to be impaired or intoxicated while operating a rental vehicle will be immediately removed from their vehicle. The determination of impairment is at the sole discretion of the lead guide, whose decision is final.

Consequences of Violation

A participant found to be riding while intoxicated will be:

  • Immediately removed from the vehicle.

  • Downgraded to passenger status for the remainder of that riding segment, where space permits.

  • Transported to the group’s base camp or next destination via taxi or Vesping Around support vehicle, at the participant’s own expense.

No refund will be issued for any portion of the trip missed or forfeited as a result of an intoxication violation. Vesping Around assumes no liability for costs incurred as a result of this enforcement, including transportation costs.

12. Code of Conduct and Removal Policy

Vesping Around curates small, intimate group experiences. The behavior and attitude of each participant directly impacts the quality of the experience for the entire group. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with respect, openness, and care for fellow travelers, guides, and the communities we visit.

Grounds for Removal

The lead guide, at their sole discretion, may remove a participant from the trip for any of the following behaviors:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or disrespectful conduct toward other participants, guides, or local community members.

  • Persistent disruptive behavior or chronic complaints that negatively affect the group experience.

  • Disrespect toward local culture, customs, or communities visited during the trip.

  • Intoxication in violation of the Alcohol and Intoxication Policy described above.

  • Deliberate disregard for safety instructions provided by the lead guide or Vesping Around.

  • Demonstrated lack of riding ability, balance, or situational awareness that, in the judgment of the lead guide, poses a safety risk to the participant or others.

Enforcement

The lead guide exercises full discretion in determining the appropriate response to conduct violations, taking into account the severity and context of the situation. Responses may range from a verbal warning to immediate removal from the trip, as the guide sees fit.

A participant removed from the trip for conduct reasons will be responsible for all costs associated with their departure, including transportation and alternative accommodation. No refund will be issued for any unused portion of the trip.

13. Itinerary Changes

Weather-Related Changes

Outdoor riding activities are subject to weather and road conditions. In the event that weather prevents or limits riding on any given day, Vesping Around reserves the right to modify, postpone, or substitute that day’s activities at the lead guide’s discretion. Alternative arrangements will be determined based on conditions and available options at the time. No refunds will be issued for riding activities affected by weather conditions.

General Itinerary Modifications

Vesping Around reserves the right to make changes to any trip itinerary, including but not limited to routing, accommodations, dining venues, and activities, when circumstances require it. In all such cases, Vesping Around will substitute an equivalent or superior alternative at no additional cost to participants. No refunds will be issued for itinerary modifications made under these circumstances.

Vesping Around will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of significant itinerary changes in advance when possible.

14. Health, Fitness, and Special Requirements

Physical Fitness Requirements

Certain destinations may involve physical activities requiring moderate fitness levels. It is crucial to assess your own health and ability to safely participate in trip activities prior to booking.

Special Requirements

If you have dietary, mobility, or other medical needs, notify us before booking. We will discuss available options with you before reserving your spot and provide the most accurate information to help you make an informed decision. While we will make every effort to accommodate, some requirements may not be possible to meet due to itinerary limitations or the destination’s infrastructure.

By booking a trip, you affirm that you have no physical or mental condition that would jeopardize your safety or that of others on the trip. In some cases, we may request a statement from you attesting to your ability to participate in all planned activities. Should we determine that we cannot accommodate your needs, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse a booking.

15. Waiver of Liability

Participation in any Vesping Around experience involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: road accidents, personal injury, illness, property damage, adverse weather conditions, and other unforeseen events associated with travel and operating motor vehicles in a foreign country.

By booking a trip with Vesping Around, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks. You agree to assume full responsibility for your own safety and well-being during the trip, including all activities undertaken, whether organized by Vesping Around or independently.

You hereby release, waive, and discharge Vesping Around, its directors, employees, agents, partners, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action—whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated—arising out of or relating to any loss, damage, injury, or expense that may occur during your participation in the trip.

All participants will be required to sign a separate Waiver of Responsibility form prior to the start of the trip. This form is mandatory and explicitly affirms your understanding of the risks involved and your agreement not to hold Vesping Around liable. Failure to sign this waiver will result in exclusion from all tour activities, with no refund provided.

It is your responsibility to exercise sound judgment and caution throughout the experience. Unsafe behavior or disregard for safety protocols may result in removal from the tour at the discretion of the tour leader.

16. Force Majeure

In the case of a Force Majeure Event, Vesping Around reserves the right to modify or cancel itineraries without liability. While we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements, we are not liable for refunds or compensation under such circumstances.

A “Force Majeure Event” for the purposes of these terms and conditions is defined as any circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, terrorist activities, insurrection, explosions, floods, earthquakes, storms, strong winds, fires, accidents, war or the threat of war (whether declared or undeclared), sabotage, civil unrest, labor strikes, requisitions, pandemics, illness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, and any unforeseen circumstances.

If we, our partners, or agents are affected by a Force Majeure event, we or our agents may change or cancel any itinerary or activity without any obligation or liability. In such cases, we are not required to fulfill our obligations and are not responsible for any resulting damages.

17. Data Privacy and Personal Information

Vesping Around collects and processes personal data provided by participants for the purpose of organizing and delivering trip services. This includes, but is not limited to, names, contact information, travel document details, health disclosures, and photographs.

The invalid provision shall be replaced by Vesping Around by a clause as similar as practicable. These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time by Vesping Around by posting amendments and revisions to this website.

20. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first seek mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal action will be governed by Florida and U.S. federal law without regard to Florida’s choice of law principles and conducted in the state and federal courts located in Miami, Florida.

Thank you for choosing Vesping Around.

We look forward to providing you with an unforgettable experience.
